MainStay Suites Houma

The hotel is clean and the rooms are well-maintained. Excellent value for money. The staff is helpful. The hotel is a bit far from restaurants and other amenities. The included breakfast is continental (not a hot breakfast), but this isn't a major drawback as the rooms have kitchenettes. It's worthwhile if you're looking for a good, reasonably priced hotel for a long stay.

Very clean. They also offer a nice snack and bottle of water upon check-in. Although light it does have a free breakfast which is not always common with extended stay. Type hotels. Highly recommend

Extended stay hotel with furnished mini-kitchen. What I liked: the walk in closet, very nice. Full ironing board and iron. Nice furnishings, comfortable mattress and pillows. Sheets changed every five days without asking. I did not see bugs or mice. The staff was kind. The AC worked very well. The bathroom was well lit. What I didn't like: Two of the three washing machines are broken - and they cost $1.50, the front desk may have a couple dollars in change if you're lucky. If they're going to make money off our laundry, why don't they fix the machines? There is no dish soap or scrub brush in the kitchen- you can only put dirty dishes in the dishwasher, which doesn't get everything clean. There is no kitchen knife in the kitchen. There is a cutting board, mysteriously The television has thousands of channels and a built-in TV guide! only a few of those channels work, and you have to guess which ones. There is no DVD player. This is a small thing, but -- my refrigerator had it's riser feet removed, so instead of the door swinging a couple inches off the ground, it swings into your feet. I made this mistake multiple times. The entire walk in closet is taken up by a swinging door, have to squeeze into the corner to close the closet door, so you can get into the bathroom. There is nothing the hotel can do about this one. This hotel is superior to Extended Stay America. This hotel is inferior to Candlewood Suites. This is not the worst hotel I've stayed in. It just doesn't feel like home.

This is a great place to stay. Now that it's under new management the place is better. The manager and front desk clerk Trina is very friendly and welcoming but just as other hotels you have clerks that can use a dose of Jesus to gain some joy and friendliness but over all we love the coziness and friendliness of the hotel. It's very clean and casual. There's a back covered patio that's fenced in to feel safe allowing your little ones to play outside when your there for long stays as we do with my husband's job. The rooms are very spacious which is great for long stays to feel like your home even when your away from home. They also have cookies daily at the front desk which my toddler looked forward to every that we was there . Another great thing they offer like no other hotel I've stayed in is they have game boards to rent for free. There's just a lot of good things to say about this hotel but you get the point. I would Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thanks & God Bless

Very awesome staff, clean place, rooms are perfect size, breakfast is so so good, and the beds are so soft and comfortable, it is just amazing with this place, I would definitely go to this place if I was traveling to houma Louisiana

Pricing and Room amenity’s are great. Room was clean and well kept. This is our go to hotel to stay when visiting family in Houma. The location is great for getting down the bayou and lots of fast food options close by if needed. The best part of the hotel is the staff were hospitable and accommodating. Thanks Mainstay!

The first room wasn't good . There were bugs in the bathroom, bed, and closet... But the front desk assigned me another room and it was very comfortable and no bugs . Overall our stay there was great not a lot of noise and my grandbaby enjoyed her breakfast. They even took care of the other room we were in first. Again it's a good hotel. My husband and I are going to go there just to get away a little bit. Thank you Mainstay for your hospitality
